Using LinkedIn Effectively
I see more and more co-workers starting to use LinkedIn. If you’re new to the service, you’ll want to checkout a post I wrote in the summer of 2007 entitled “LinkedIn Tips”. It contains links to a number of helpful articles.
Windows Live Writer
I’ve been using Windows Live Writer for a few months now. It is the best Windows-based blog composition application that I’ve used. It works great with WordPress and, apparently, also supports other blogging platforms like Blogger, TypePad, LiveJournal, etc. Best of all, it is free.

Judging by the traffic in my personal inbox, it seeems a number of my colleagues have just discovered LinkedIn.
Although I`ve had account for a few years, it wasn`t until I listened this podcast interview with Reid Hoffman that I recognized the some value of it.

Quick Google Tips
Did you know you can put a package tracking number into Google Search? I’ve tried it with both Fedex and UPS packages.
You can also use Google to quickly determine the currency exchange rates. For example, put “convert USD to CAD” into Google Search. You can see the result here.
